Tap & Spile — Restaurant in England

I didn't have any food so I've not included a star rating for that. I don't live in Scarborough but I've been to the Tap & Spile a few times mostly for the live music on weekend evenings and occasionally for a few of their excellent choices of ale which have never disappointed. A really nice place with lovely bar staff and a vibrant atmosphere, I feel very relaxed and enjoy the experience. There is a beer patio area at the rear where smoking is permitted. Many thanks and I shall look forward to visiting again as frequently as "life"...

Called here on the off chance just 10 mins before the kitchen closed. We ordered small Sunday lunch which was quite large. The beef was lovely. Lots of veg, unfortunately all Al dente which I know others like but I prefer my veg more cooked. There was also roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding and a nice touch was a gravy boat. Both the meal and gravy were piping hot which was great. Great beers obv from a well kept cellar. The pub and toilets were very clean. Nice cosy pub...

I ordered a take away Carvery today for the first time. I am a qualified professional chef (retired) and always thought take away Carvery would one day be on the menu ( no pun intended ) it was something different to offer the customer but lot's of negativity surrounded it so I never got a chance to try it. Now a few restaurants offer this service so I gave it a try. I really enjoyed my Carvery it was hot and a substantial amount for one. Would certainly...
