Just the best restaurant we've eaten in for a variety of reasons. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere so welcoming. The menu has a vast range of amazing sounding dishes. The staff were happy to give us their recommendations to help us choose. The sauces are very light, fresh and full of flavour, not heavy with ghee which causes acid reflux for both my husband and I. It's beautifully presented and clean. The food comes out piping hot and freshly cooked. Reasonable prices too. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through! We were told by other hotel guest that this was the best curry they’d had. We are very experienced curry eaters and so was a little sceptical. We were wrong. I love dansak dishes and so I had the tandoori duck dansak. The dansak curry was the best dansak I had had. My wife had chicken merilan with melons, which was creative, beautifully tasty and well presented. Even the mushroom rice and onion bhajis were of top notch quality. My husband and I decided to pick up a takeaway from here, but our experience made us decide to go elsewhere. We were not at all acknowledged when we walked in, were stood quite clearly behind the man paying for his order, only to have the man serving go completely over our heads to the man he knew behind us and then continued to take his order.
