Not bad but not great either. All in all an average experience. I've eaten here before, many years ago. Back then the food was better & likewise the service. In fact when the restaurant was in its original location (next door) & was a small restaurant, the food was spectacular. It feels to me as the owners have become complacent after years of success in their trade. Credit where it's due in respect of their success in an extremely difficult market, BUT don't become complacent & let your standards drop. Also be prepared before you visit to pay in cash only. They have signs up on the walls however we only noticed them when finalising our order. Thankfully though, given the location of the restaurant there are many ATM's available. Also a note to the owners. Charging £3 for a jug of tap water is a disgrace. I requested a jug of tap water with some ice. Your staff placed 3-4 ice cubes in the jug (no lemon), but yet your waiter insisted on Charging £3 for a jug of tap water. This left a very bitter taste in my mouth (not literally).

Just moved to Medway and this was my first visit to a restaurant and it was awful, I made a reservation a day before, got there and was told my booking was for 2 instead of 3 which is not true because I said to them 1 adult and 2 children I just instantly gathered that they have issues with little children so we decided to seat outside, food came with missing sides I had to ask for them separately with 2 different waiters before they finally brought it. Food was ok not the best except for the calamari and lamb shish. Service was appalling I literally had to beg to be served and they seem to serve the people they were familiar with differently which is ok as I know I will never patronise them again. We ordered for a take out and desert and the waiter just ignored me and never returned withe the desert menu so I just paid for what we had also in cash and leaving extra cos I had no change and i had to leave. Ruined my mother's day lunch but o well.

Amazing turkish food located at the end of Chatham high street. The food was absolutely top-tier and the meats were just amazing. They had such a smoky flavour which remained even after we took it home as we were unable to finish it all. We ordered the share platter for 4 and it was more then enough food for all of us. Our table was seated fairly close to the table next to us making it feel a little cramped and we only realised at the end of the meal that there was no card payments but other than that it was a divine meal. Very reasonable prices and gorgeous food.

Had to give 5* to Taze as they are one of the best restaurants, I've dined at in Chatham. The food is so tasty, fresh and good value for money, with a wide variety of options. The staff are so friendly and attentive, can't fault the service in any way. The general look and atmosphere of the restaurant, is to a higher standard than most restaurants in Chatham, I honestly have had nothing but good experiences whilst dinning here. I will most definitely be a returning customer, and would recommend to everyone to try this place out, as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Went to Taze for a birthday iftar as 4 adults, a toder and newborn. We had amazing food and excellent service. Good food portion sizes and the mocktails were delicious. The staff were friendly and the young male waiter in particular (sorry we didn't ask your name) was very approachable and professional. They acommodate children well, provided a high chair if needed and seated us at a more convenient table for space and comfort. Many thanks for making our experience a positive one

Group meals are very much well-priced. Tasty food. In terms of service, it varies. Male waiters are polite. Female waiters not so much. I have visited this place a couple of times with my friends and usually have good experience with male waiters. That one time my partner and I went to just have a quick coffee and kunefe , one female server literally said to our faces “thats the only thing youre ordering???” And her eyebrow was raised too whilst saying those lines.
