Aden Lounge — Restaurant in Great Britain

Our visit to Aden Lounge was disappointing from start to finish. We ordered seven dishes: chicken casserole with rice, two chicken penne creamy sauce, chicken thigh with rice, lamb casserole, lamb shank, and ribeye steak. Only the ribeye steak and chicken thigh with rice were enjoyable, yet the steak was served well-done despite our clear request for medium rare.

The service was inattentive and unwelcoming. When we urgently requested bottled water for our one-year-old child, who was crying from thirst, it took around five minutes without any urgency shown. We eventually brought in our own water, only to be told we were “not allowed to bring outside items” a frustrating response given the delay was on their part.

To top it off, when paying, the cashier insisted on cash only, and only after we said we had cards did they reluctantly bring out a payment machine.

While two dishes were good, the overcooked steak, dismissive attitude, slow service, and unprofessional payment handling made this an experience we would...

I am purely disgusted by the treatment my friends and I have recieved tonight.

Our food took ages to arrive, and when it did it was cold. To make things objectively worse it didn't even taste up to standard.

We told staff that we are celebrating two people's birthdays and we waited just as long to recieve anything for that, and then when we did, it was extremely unenthusiastic and anyone in their right mind could tell that the workers did not care to make their customers feel welcome.

And to top it all off, once one of my friends left a bad review, they were harrassed into taking it down by a staff membern and the entire ordeal felt very threatening.
