Hornsea Tandoori — Restaurant in England

First visit on Saturday just gone.

You have to book at the weekend as the place was packed out which gave it a great atmosphere with plenty of buzz.

We booked for 7:30 and were sat down about 5-8 mins later. The server apologised for the delay (no need) and we were given half of our poppadoms for free (again no need).

We skipped the starters after looking at the volume of food on the table next to us and went for 3 mains, two rice and a naan.

The food was excellent, my Jalfreizi (sic) was spicy hot, the Chicken Sashlic was spicy flavourful and I didn't get to try the Hornsea Special as my son wouldn't let me!

With tip we paid £65.

Finally, the restaurant doesn't have a licence so you bring your own alcohol (there is a Co Op across the road) unless you want soft drinks/water. There is no corkage fee which is...

Please don’t waste your money! Ordered takeaway last Saturday after 2.5 hours it arrived cold! The whole point of takeaway is not cooking right? So after reheating it the food was at best mediocre. After spending £42 I did call to complain. They first offered me a discount like I’m going to pay half price to cook my own food so promised next delivery would be free. Hold the press… I ordered tonight & apart from charging an eye watering delivery fee they held true. We are at Skirlington Caravan Park and we ordered a delivery and arranged to meet them at reception which we suggested, it’s a big park after all so they phoned us and we met them at reception which was great.

The food was OUTSTANDING we ordered Korma a Biryani and to be honest the portions would feed 2 people. The chips were cooked perfect and again a big bag. I asked for mango chutney separate they sent 2 tubs. I spoke with a lady working in the cafe on site and she said it’s the best Indian takeaway and she wasn’t wrong. We ordered on a Monday night so delivery was fairly quick it is a restaurant so other nights may take longer it’s not far for a collection…. I highly recommend 5*...
