The Base Bar — Restaurant in England

I was kindly invited to The Base Bar to sample their delicious menu 🖤 They serve healthy Breakfasts, Brunch & Lunch. We had the choice of whichever menu we wanted to try, so we opted to go in for breakfast..... But we will definitely be back to try the Lunch Menu as I spyed lots of things I'd like to try! 😍 . Here's what we ordered 🍽

🖤 Large Base Breakfast 🖤 Avo Smash with Poached Egg (with bacon added as an extra)

The BEST breakfasts! 😍 This is definitely not your greasy fry up kind of place.... Everything was cooked fresh and tasted so good! 👌 Definitely a new fave spot for future brunch dates! 🖤

There's several options on the Breakfast Menu like Protein Waffles, Bagels, Salmon & Scrambled Eggs 🥯🧇🍳🥑 Then on the Lunch Menu you can find things like Wraps, Ciabattas, Salads, Jacket Potatoes and they also have a Specials Board. I definitely want to go back to try the Cajun Chicken Rice Bowl I spotted on the menu! 🤤

There's a great selection of Coffees, Teas, Cold Drinks and you can even have a cheeky Beer or Wine if you fancy! 🍺🍷 They also do Smoothies & Protein Smoothies🧋

There's a lush Treat Counter too which has Brownies, Blondies, Cookies and a selection of sugar free Protein Treats! 😋

My rating 4.5 / 5 Large base breakfast - excellent quality produce and excellent value for money. Not a drop of grease on it! Brunch bagel - smashed avocado, halloumi, bacon and sweet chilli sauce - delicious, although I’d of liked a bit more halloumi because I love halloumi! Vanilla protein waffles with Greek yogurt and biscoff topping - sooo filling! Vanilla protein iced latte was lovey. The mango and pineapple smoothie was ok although probably wouldn’t order it again but that’s down to personal taste. Left feeling absolutely stuffed from the mega protein hit! They also serve beers, wine and Prosecco! I’ll be back for a base breakfast and a Peroni! (We were invited to try the base bar but this is my own honest review. Ad. See derby_diners for full video!) *Definitely not a "Greasy Spoon" off Stores Road! * A golden find on a very wet March morning, immediately was greeted by a warm chatty smile from the very confident barista. The food was absolutely outstanding! With definitely quality and freshness from the off. The modern chilled music was a pleasant experience, which sure added to the whole experience of the cafe bar. If you need a "Coffee Kick" this is definitely the place with high quality coffee to very high standards. Well done to all of the Base team, you are all obviously doing it right. 11/10...
