If you’re visiting Babbacombe you need to drop in here! A great stop off after a visit to the model village or, as we did, a nice coast path walk. Food is fresh, cafe is clean and service is friendly and welcoming. I had a tuna mayo sandwich and a scone with jam and cream - what more could you ask for! There is a great specials board and as a flow of people came in to order nothing seemed too big a request for these guys. Would happily eat here again.

myself and my grandad visited this morning (19/7/23) for some breakfast as we had an hour before an appointment. the food was absolutely beautiful, the portion sizes were perfect, the service was efficient. Lisa was extremely lovely and nothing was too much of an ask (i had quite a few changes made to my meal, and Lisa had no issue in getting that done for me). overall, a lovely experience and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Friendly little cafe in st marychurch that serves good meals at good prices. Popped in there for a latte and a tea to takeaway and for three quid for the both u can't go wrong, the staff put in a box with spoon and sugars for me to carry, so with service like I'd go in there every time I'm in st marychurch now. Decent tea decent latte and the cafe was packed with customers do obviously they think the same as me.

I visited the Cafe with 2 children and three adults. As soon as I walked into the cafe the older woman did not look happy. Like she had just encountered a bad smell. Sniffily she said "Have you booked?" No welcome of any kind. I said "No" and she paused walked off and come back and said "You'll have to split between the two tables." Then walked off. A bit purturbed we sat down and she returned and snapped "There are two other customers being served before you." So I guess at this stage she is trying to say that your food will take ages to cook. To be hoenst it looked like a greasy spoon from the 60's so wasn't particularly inviting. Feeling like she didnt want us there it seemed like a good idea just to leave. Hospitality does require some degree of hospitable welcome. I've never felt more unwelcome in a cafe before. The kids were well behaved and we are very polite people so to be hoenst I was really dissapointed. However we went to the Cliff Railway Cafe which was absolutely amazing. Wonderful reception, great views fantastic and modern food offerings. It was the best thing the miserable woman could have done. We had a fantastic lunch at the Cliff...

Me and my colleague had to come to Torquay for work and wanted food upon arrival. I spotted this cafe on Google the day previous and wanted to come due to the positive reviews and the food looked very good on the pictures. Upon arrival we commented on how clean the premises were. As soon as people were leaving the tables were being cleaned immediately. Very friendly staff with a very good sense of humour made us feel very welcomed. Food came out and looked exceptional. I have to say that it is possibly one of the nicest breakfasts I have ever had. If we ever have to travel to do any work in Torquay again I will be definitely volunteering just so I can visit this cafe again. Food is...

Had food here asked for no eggs and tomato on the all day breakfast and if they can swap it for an extra sausage. Recieved the food and we didn't recieve an extra sausage but was charged the full price. The lady giving us the drinks broke a glass and dropped one of the cans on the floor which she did not offer to swap so when I opened it. It went all over the floor, table and me. The chef ended up cleaning the glass and the lady did not apologise or acknowledge the mistake. Had to ask for a new can of drink after it went everywhere. Still hungry and won't be returning. Was charged £21.90 for 3 cans 2 breakfast ( 3 ingredients ) and...
