The Bell Inn — Restaurant in England

Really lovely pub. Everyone is so friendly. Exceptionally clean. The landlady is always cleaning. Lol. Don't offer food but have been there for an event and the food was amazing. Had a great makeover too. Never had anything but a positive experience. Entertainment they put on is second to none. All staff are amazingly friendly, caring and helpful. Have read a few shoddy reviews but they seem to be about a few patrons which to me seems so unfair as you are leaving a bad review about a business when your issue is nothing to do with the pub itself! The landlord cannot be there to hear EVERY convo as suggested, to suggest such a thing is absolutely ridiculous, particularly when they dont tolerate any actual bad behaviour....

Disappointing Experience at The Bell

Our visit to The Bell was extremely uncomfortable. As we entered, a man pretended to be the landlord, only to quickly change his demeanor and claim he was “just trying to be friendly.” The interaction felt insincere and awkward, something we’ve never experienced before.

We left within a minute, completely put off by the situation. It’s unfortunate that individuals like this could damage the reputation of the establishment. The actual landlord should take note of such behavior.

Fantastic local pub with community spirit that can host local games and clubs, as well as airing national games like football, rugby and darts. Whilst they don't serve food, all drinks are well priced and the current management have clearly made a lot of effort to overhaul the beer garden and sports/events bar.

Recently renovated in October 2023, the bar atmosphere is greatly improved having been opened up with a lovely fresh light wood bar, repainted interior, furniture re-upholstered, and tables...
