This pub is doing everything right. They are following strict guidelines. Front outside seating and tables were cleaned after every occupier moved on. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can view all drink options on QR code, and they have a great selection. Whilst there was some seating inside, the preference I would say was for people to be outside when possible and they have both seating on the front terrace and also a large garden in the rear. The plan was to have dinner here with friends. Never been here before and it was super crowded, the only seats available on saturday night were outside, wooden benches, one heater in the center of the whole garden. We sat quite far from the heating as all seats were taken close to it, decided not to have any food as it was too cold. Shame. Definitely will be back to try that clay oven charcoal pizzas. Great beer on tap, lovely people and fantastic pizza on offer too. Can't go wrong.

It also has two big beer fridges if you want to buy some hard to find ales to drink in our take away. Selection always changing, bar and fridge. One of the few places I've found Northern Monk ales outside of Leeds.
