Iâve always been really disappointed with this place - I recall a lovely friendly and spacious cafe /delicatessen here a few years before that served the area so well and was useful - but since the changeover to this all you have is a tiny hole in the wall attracting tourists only, with not the most friendly service, cakes might be quite nice but no great choice and expensive. They also needlesy reduced the size of cafe inside when they took over, and itâs not been open as cafe since long after pandemic now.    Read moreA lovely cafe sadly fronted by mediocre - borderline rude - service. Such a pity as itâs clear the owner takes great pride in their coffee and baked goods, yet the whole experience for us was spoiled by the lady serving us.
She looked at our child who was happily pottering around the shop as if children shouldnât exist, and what could have been a funny conversation about jam/cream or cream/jam was ruined by her tone and manner which was forthright and unpleasant.
