After going on a family trip to the seaside we stopped in here attracted to the idea of crab sandwich. We paid almost £10 for a crab sandwich which was a rip-off enough but then they handed it to us in a paper sack which was of poor quality to be polite. After one mouthful my wife had enough shell to cover a 5p coin. As we were still right outside when this happened we went back inside to complain and ask for a refund. The owner (I assume) came out and after explaining the situation explained to us that crab meat came with shell and it was normal. I have had crab meat before and it does not come with that much shell. She proceeded to tell me that she buys crab meat and it comes with shell. Madam, I don't care if you buy crab meat that is not well quality controlled and you don't take care when preparing your high ticket items on your menu! I care that you delivered a poor quality meal to me and then treated me like an idiot with no accountability for your quality or lack there of. The sandwich was the worst dining experience I have had in Cornwall EVER and the treatment of customers shows an absolute lack of respect. Avoid this establishment of you want to be treated decently or have food prepared with any degree of quality. You would get 10 times better quality food at McDonalds.
