The Direct Pizza Company - Brackley — Restaurant in England

I saw in another review that there’d been a fire a few weeks ago. Must’ve been tough. I wouldn’t expect the impact of that fire to influence the two hours it took for our pizza to arrive. Now, I will admit, our postcode was incorrect and the driver called to check where we were after 1 hour 45 minutes. From that point of correction he took less than 15 minutes to get to us. Not bad and a really nice bloke. Let’s assume therefore, that a further 15 minutes were wasted going to the wrong address. That still leaves an hour and fifteen waiting for pizza. I ordered via the website at 6:30. I received a notification email at 19:30 that my order was with the company. I didn’t receive an order accepted email until an hour after I had received my pizza. The pizza is good, for what it is. And what it is is not dominos. Which is a win for me. It’s more oily than dominos, but is also not overpriced plastic. It’s more overpriced rubber with flavour. I’ll always prefer using an independent company over a US corporation. I would prefer it though, if they could prepare food within the time of a John Wick film rather than Lord...

I will never use this company again and would not recommend them. I placed an order at 4.30 pm. 15 mins later rang back to see if I could slightly change order, to be told no as it is on its way and will be 5 mins. Great. 45 mins later no delivery, ring again to find out where order is, to be told they have redone my order and making a fresh one. I asked why and they could not give me a reason. Delivery will be 2 mins. 20 mins later order arrives stone cold. By this point I had enough of being fobbed off and lied to, so rang back and asked for a refund, to get told no refund but we will send another order out. Another 20 mins of them not listening and then being told we can't give you a card refund because of some technical issues with the machine and manager will call you for refund tomorrow. I ended up driving down there and picking the refund...

Used to order from here a lot a couple times a week when our cooker broke and we liked it so much that when ever we had friends over on the weekends we would all order from here (this is every other weekend / probably about 10 times since July 2017) All our friends loved it so it was easy choice the last few times we have ordered food has been wrong and not what we asked for and also soggy and not the best The prices have also gone up but the portions are smaller and the food is no wear near as nice really really disappointed and feel like we have wasted a lot of money cause when rang and complained the couldn't care less and couldn't get off the phone fast enough We won't be...
