On a sunlit August Sunday in Swindon, my visit to Drink Valley felt like stumbling upon a hidden gem that celebrates the true spirit of a modern pub. At its heart lies a vibrant brewpub, known for its remarkable range of craft beers, ciders, wines, and spirits. From locally brewed ales to international favourites, the bar is a treasure trove for anyone who enjoys exploring drinks with character. The food, however, deserves just as much praise. This is not ordinary pub grub. Each dish is cooked with care, plated with flair, and full of flavour — hearty yet refined, the kind of food that satisfies every taste bud. From crisp starters to generous mains, everything I tried struck the perfect balance between comfort and creativity. I’m already missing the incredible beef burger I had here — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and one of the best I’ve ever eaten. My daughter still talks about the mac and cheese, calling it the best we had in the entire UK. What stood out most was the attention to detail. The chef clearly puts heart and soul into the menu, and it shows in every plate. Paired with the right pint or glass of wine, the experience becomes something memorable. Service was warm and attentive, adding to the easygoing yet lively atmosphere — a space filled with friendly chatter, clinking glasses, and the hum of taps flowing. If I had to sum it up: Swindon may not be famous for its food and drink scene, but Drink Valley proves it has gems worth discovering. A place where great beer, ciders, great food, and genuine hospitality come together effortlessly. Highly recommended!

We live locally and have eaten here a couple of times, and enjoyed the food and drink on each occasion. The atmosphere is pleasant with a calming aroma of hops from the mash tuns behind the bar. Staff are helpful and friendly too. Will happily return and recommend to others. A hidden gem!

On site brewery. Key keg (craft) and hand pulled cask beers. Also bottles. Staff are friendly. Toilets very clean. Food is reasonably priced. Shared five small plates . All excellently presented. All very tasty and well balanced. Atmosphere was a little subdued. Probably a good thing.

I recently visited Drink Valley in Swindon with a large group of colleagues – about 30 of us – and had a fantastic experience. We hired the entire venue for the afternoon, and the team at Drink Valley handled everything beautifully, ensuring our event ran smoothly.

One of the highlights was the incredible selection of ciders and beers on offer. Their cider, in particular, stood out – amazing quality and a wide variety to suit all tastes. Whether you’re a fan of something fruity, crisp, or more robust, there’s something for everyone. For those who prefer beer, the choices were equally impressive.

The service was pretty decent considering the size of our group. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured everyone was looked after. For lunch, we went with the special menu of a curry and a drink for £16 per head, which was an excellent deal. The curry was flavorful and hearty – just what we needed on a chilly day – and the portion sizes were spot on. We did have the meat dishes come out before the vegetarian dishes which was the only small annoyance.

The venue itself is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for casual get-togethers or larger gatherings like ours. Drink Valley really delivered in terms of quality, value, and atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place in Swindon that offers great drinks and a laid-back vibe, I highly recommend giving it a try. We’ll definitely be...

This place is a hidden gem and that rarest of treats: a place to enjoy both excellent, well-kept real ales and delicious authentic Indian food. we met friends and shared a selection of vegetarian starters, which were the best Indian food I have had for a very long time. The onion bhajis were light, crispy, and deliciously fresh. The Samosas were served in an amazing sauce/dhal combination. Even the rice was out of this world. And all along, we were treated to a wide choice of real ales an the hand pumps and an even wider choice of modern craft beers on gas. I'm really glad this place is here, and I offer my thanks and appreciation to the hard-working couple who have created what is a wonderful addition to the town centre, and what will no doubt be wildly successful. I urge you to head along to The Drink Valley and discover it...
