The Waiting Room — Restaurant in England

Awful pub, heard a guy heaving in the toilets, told security that there is someone who needed help in the toilets, who responded with "we aren't waiting out here for fun, your friend is next" which was odd to hear.

They then proceeded to ask my friend who was as sober as a judge to leave!

For what reason? Because we called them out on letting their friend lash his guts out for 20 mins and they got annoyed?

Security is awful, they said their staff asked them to remove my friend, asked staff why and they denied all knowledge.

I went for the karaoke which although was good it was a little too loud. The DJ noisy too screaming over the microphone instead of dropping the music to speak. Also he could improve on his DJ chat or banter which was virtually zero. Drink prices very good. Something happened at one end of the pub as bouncers flew past me. Nice pub, would strongly suggest card payments though. An increasingly large amount of people prefer or almost exclusively use cards. The Wetherspoons across the road seems to be competing aggressively by reducing their prices, which I don't really like given that this place is new and Spoons is not exactly struggling. This is a much nicer pub in many ways, but the lack of card purchases puts me off most of the time. I suspect many...
