The Feathers Aylesbury — Restaurant in England

Can't really fault this place, all very well presented, the staff are very friendly, and it has a great selection of beers and ales. We've only visited a handful of times since it's become the Feathers, and only during the day when it's a bit quieter. I can't comment on how this place is in the evening, but I'd imagine it has a great atmosphere ... but probably pretty loud, especially if there's a football match on!. The food menu on offer is really good value, with some good meal deals, and anything from sandwiches to steaks. I've always found our meals to be nicely presented, well cooked, and the whole experience and atmosphere very pleasant & enjoyable. Service is usually very good, although one time we did have to wait for nearly an hour for our meal, even though it was quiet, but it turned out there'd been a problem with an oven, so not really anyone's fault. These things happen, it's how they're dealt with that counts, and the manager was excellent, very apologetic manner, and in the end all resolved very quickly.

If you're looking for nice place to enjoy a meal whilst in town, then this is worth checking out. Prices are great, so if you want you can have a nice lunch for about the same price as the 'golden arches', and since they also do a decent burger, I know which I'd...

Feathers can be a good night out, depending on the crowd! The music is lively always a great DJ! The only down fall is having to leave your drinks inside the building were theres plenty of people coming in and out, people standing round all your drinks! As a female it makes me feel very uneasy! I expressed to the bouncer how I felt and asked if I could keep my drink in my hand, I also said you can makesure I don’t drink it! I just really don’t want to leave my drink in here, he told me it would be fine when I went back to get my drink it’s was foaming and extremely bubbly! This could of been due to anything I understand that, a bouncer on the door trying to check all the IDs allow people in, run the ques and also monitor the smoking area! Then be expected to watch people’s drinks just isn’t possible. I feel the customers should be allowed to bring there drinks outside in the ‘SMOKING AREA ONLY’ with more bouncers to monitor the surroundings.

OK, so it's not the most up market place in town. If you want Instagram pictures across pretty lights with fancy drinks there are other places. However, what this place has is atmosphere it's fun, friendly, lively and welcoming. Staff are incredible, service is good. Food is usual pub fare but it doesn't pretend otherwise and its well cooked and usually pretty quickly served. What you can do here is come with family (kids and all) play pool, watch sports (if that's your thing, there are plenty of TV screens showing football, racing etc), have a reasonably priced drink, have a laugh and meet new people and just relax and enjoy yourself.
