Good choice of beers, interestingly quirky interior and some excellent live music when we visited in October.
First visit was great, young lady behind bar was very efficient and friendly/chatty with good knowledge of the beers...on our second visit we experienced a grumpy man behind bar, we were waiting to be served and barman diverted off to serve someone who arrived at bar after us...I rolled my eyes at my mate, at which point the barman said "he was waiting the other side of the pillar and before you, so if you want to kick off get on with it"...so...
why didn't the man get served while the other side of the pillar
If barman had said the other chap had been waiting out of sight he wouldn't have appeared to be so ignorant and rude.
Maybe barman was having a bad day/night...but in this line of work being rude is not good...should get some coaching from his colleagues.

You can't miss him - he's the 7ft tall white man.
The rest of the staff were generally friendly and helpful (but of course the manager "wasn't there" when we asked to file a formal complaint). If you're a member of staff at this pub can you please tell us how to do so? The bloke should be fired as he has definitely lost...
