A traditional pub in Rochester Kent. Split on two levels with a pool table in the top section. They have a jukebox and often have local live bands. There is a courtyard at the rear where smoking is allowed. There is a good selection of beers , wines and spirits plus they do coffees, cappuccino, latte etc. Prices are a little lower than some other pubs in the area. Read moreThe pub, as a whole, is a good visit if you're going for a pint and a chat. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The only let down is the pool table and the area around it. The table is 40 years old, and one of the cushions is completely dead of bounce, we were told this by the league players. The other thing is, you cannot play many shots with a full cue. Many times, I had to unscrew my cue to not hit the walls. Even then, it is still not short enough to play the shot.
