The New Market House Cafe and Grill — Restaurant in England

Dropped in on the off-chance on Sunday. The menu was focused around the traditional Sunday roast but with a veggie or chicken option, or having the meat in a baguette.

Actually the best Sunday roast we have had in a long time, as good as home cooked. Each of the veg had been cooked specially so the carrots had sesame seed, the purple cabbage had a lovely taste, the cauliflower cheese was spot on.

Very friendly service. The food and the service was much better than the slightly tired surroundings (I understand the owners are doing the place up slowly in and amongst).

We got to Ledbury and needed a quick lunch and so we chose this place. The food was okay, nothing spectacular but there was definitely nothing wrong with it. The location is central to the city centre and parking was relatively easy. What set me back a bit was the fact that during our lunch, some guy walked in with a dog, je was allowed to take the dog to the food preparation area and the staff proceeded to pet it and I did not see any of them wash their hands after. This made me think about hygiene in the place. I may consider going back but it's low...

Wednesday afternoon and was relatively quiet. Took 20 mins just for 2 bottled, soft drink! Food took awhile but ok however the baguette wasn’t even a baguette it was bread and I didn’t even get gherkins or onions on my burger like it said. No check backs to see if it was ok. And the table clothes had stains all over and when we were going to move, so did the other tables.
