We recently had the pleasure of dining at The Olive Branch in Easingwold, and it was an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish. We chose to sit at one of their outdoor tables, basking in the sunshine while enjoying some quality people-watching. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, the perfect spot for a leisurely meal. We ordered the black pudding stack and the buttermilk pancake stack with bacon, both of which were absolutely delicious. Each dish was well presented and reasonably priced, offering great value for the quality. The service was equally impressive, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and efficient without being intrusive. It’s clear they take pride in making their guests feel welcome. Overall, The Olive Branch is a gem in Easingwold. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. Whether you're after a relaxed meal in the sun or a cosy spot indoors, this place is a must-visit!

We were very disappointed with the food served. The Halloumi burger was OK, although served in a hard bun. However, the Tapas selection was appalling. The Nachos were burnt and looked like they had been grilled as the cheese hadn’t melted properly. The Tomato and Garlic flatbread was covered in pale looking mush and served on a burnt bread (later described as caramelised!). Fish goujons were again burnt and hard. Soup was bland. Overall, a very poor effort and the insult was to knock 10% off a £55 bill that should have been reduced to drinks only given we hardly touched the food.

Great for cyclists as there is a rack in front to stand your bike in. Tables out front next to it or plenty of tables inside with a big window to still see out of. Lots of choice on the menu from a full or light breakfast to burgers and pizzas and light bites. Coffee came quick while I decided on cheese and ham panini. Able to use contactless and toilets inside too. Will be back again.

came on thursday evening having had table booked for over month and half, arrived 5mins early and was completely ignored by the 2 girls working for five mins then to be told table wasnt ready and tried to sit us in doorway . i asked to be moved upstairs wich she did politley. eventually got to order food as i think they forgot we where up there . ordered mixed grill with the girl who clearley didnt want to be there but was never asked if i had any allergies or how i wanted my steak cooked . about half hour later the food arrived with no gammon but sustituded with a couple of pieces of the fattiest bacon i have ever seen . eventually got to ask why i had bacon and was it smoked ( it cleary was, you could smell it ) to get the answer " I dont know " i asked if she could check as i have a severe allergy to smoked food but she never came back . in the meantime the steak had bled all over the board ( i good vet could have revived it ) and contaminated most of the rest of the food . no one came to ask if everything was ok with food . i even had to go down and ask for a bill as they didnt even come to ask if wanted deserts . Completley spoilt our last night of our holiday . would have left a minus star but 1 was the lowest. the owner needs to sort there staff and ask why chef sustitutes food items without checking...

Visited 2 weeks ago. We ordered large breakfast with extra hashbrowns, a sausage and egg sandwich and tomato and pepper soup with warm bread and fries (fries forgotten initially) and lattes. Everything was delicious and coffee was so delicious we took take out. Visited again last Saturday and although the food was delicious again, many items missing I.e. 2 large breakfasts had missing eggs, mushrooms and hash browns, cannelloni ricotta pasta. By the time it was rectified, we could not eat, so items misdong from breakfasts were reduced off the bill and we took the pasta home (nicely presented in a takeout box). We also ordered lattes, vegetable soup with warm bread and margarita pizza with fries. These were very tasty. On the way out, we got a latte take out and an amazing orange choc slice of cake. Despite the above missing items, I would visit again, as the food is very tasty and the service is good. The girls servicing are lovely and...
