Only discovered this place 6 months ago, it’s a gem. Cheerful polite staff, best selection of well kept quality ales (they’ve won so many awards) and really nice clientele - always a good conversation available with civilised people. They just know how to run a pub. Salopean “ Golden Thread “ is always available- highly recommendable - and every week 2 or 3 new guest beers arrive.This is what traditional English pubs are about, excellent ale and no yobs or snobs ! To top it all off they have an excellent cook and in good weather have outside barbecues. John.
