Stop — Restaurant in Great Britain

Loved is to strong but liked is good. Always clean. Presentable. Good table service. Coffee is good at least latte always is.

Usual limited food range may be quite adequate for many if not most. Panennies not available which is an unnecessary shortfall.

This coffee STOP is in a very good location. I suspect this is why there is a shortfall, resting on laurels

It could be better than good if a simple entrepreneurial look was made over its operation.

I like it and to show I am not critical I gave and do give it 5 stars.

We virtually always go to Stop in Greyfriars for a coffee and cake as they have the absolute best chai latte, great coffee, and a beautiful selection of homemade cakes. However, the staff are not friendly and welcoming, it always feels like they're doing you a favour by serving you (no please and thank you) and usually, any hot food takes 20 - 30 minutes to be done. Have previously been a regular but after a couple of visits a few months ago my husband has now refused to go. 99% of the staff are friendly and welcoming but there is one who is brusque, sometimes rude and distinctly made us feel unwelcome. After a few months gap I went back in this week to be served by that same person, nothing has changed and felt uncomfortable. Sad to say will not be going in again. What a shame.
