The Regency — Restaurant in England

Not as welcoming as others have said. Not a family pub. Was made very unwelcome when as a family we popped in for a drink. Approx 1430 ish We had a few drinks and when the change of shift came in. Was made to feel embarrassed and ashamed Was told we must have snuck a baby into the pub. Although the bar staff cleared our table and coud clearly see a pushchair and a sleeping child . I could not see any signs banning families from entering. It seems this pub would rather have a few loud drunks. But not families. The child was not running around nor was he loud. But was very unwelcome. Shame...

Popped in here for a drink on a sunday evening. They had a quiz going on at the time and all tables were filled. Lucky enough there was another room we could sit with drink which also had a pool table. Did want a game but the label with the price was warn and so we didnt know how much it cost and didnt really want to go back into the packed quiz...
