It is a great hotel with great views and a great location. The owners were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great location, just a minute from the sea front. There is a bar with a good choice of drinks. Breakfast can be served in the dining area, or you can get it delivered to your room and sit on the balcony looking out at the sea. Very nice decor, and we had a huge bed. The bath and shower are big and everything is very clean. Lots of parking nearby. We had a great couple of days away, and we would definitely visit again. The hotel is very close to some lovely restaurants.

Brilliant location, slight hill. Lovely views, quaint rooms if not a little in need of updating, only an opinion. New mattresses, pillows. Stunning house/ hotel. Attentive but not in your face. For someone who likes unusual I loved the noughts and crosses board, the marbles and some of the art. Really friendly staff, good breakfast, sets you up for the day. Close to all things, again beautiful views and you can if possible upgrade at the reception. Would stay again. Like many British resorts the area has been hit by austerity more than most.

Amazing hotel with very kind owners. The hotel is in an old building "with a soul" and it's a pleasure to stay there. Very clean and spacious room. View from our balcony was breathtaking. In the room we had everything we needed. The hotel also has parking and a small outdoor space where you can hang out when the weather is good. The hotel bar offers some good selection of spirits too!

The hotel looks attractive and welcoming from outside. There is a small private parking area in front of it, but this was full. Ample parking on the road outside. It is a 5 minute stroll down the hill to the seafront.|A pleasant check in with Andrew, a very personable host, and I was upgraded to a double room.|As I walked through the bar and up the stairs to my room there were a couple of very load blokes in the bar who had obviously had a few. I hoped they wouldn't stay long! After a few hours they were gone.|The room was pleasant with a TV in the bedroom area and another in a separate lounge. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided with a kettle. Bathroom was nicely fitted with nice towels and free toiletries.|Everything was clean and tidy, although the windows in the separate lounge need replacing as they are rotten and some water was coming through from the rain, a towel was placed over the leak.|Overnight the road outside was generally quiet, although the walls seem thin and I could hear my neighbours conversing easily. |I stayed for 3 nights but only ate breakfast on one. I wish I had it more often. Quality food, nicely presented. I didn't have to eat for the rest of the day! Not cheap though at £13.50.|Generally a pleasant stay, and reasonably priced room. I would stay here again if I...

We came up from Hampshire on a Friday afternoon after work! After a longer drive than expected, the owner kindly greeted us at the car park to help us fit our car in. Our room was lovely, top floor with sea view. Room is spacious and very clean. We found the bed to be very comfortable (we like a firm mattress). TV channels were adequate, but we really didn’t spend much time in our room to worry what was in TV, with such lovely walks, beach, pier and restaurants near by we had such an amazing time exploring our first trip to WSM. Breakfast is amazing, defiantly recommend full English, it kept us going for most of the day, good job as we did so much walking. All staff are so polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them to do for you, and they all made us feel so very welcome. Everything is 5 stars from us, apart from the hill you do need to walk up from Promenade to get back to hotel. It’s quite steep, other than that a fantastic experience staying here for the first time. Would defiantly...

What a delightful hotel! From the welcoming emails sent before our stay to the warm welcome on our arrival I have nothing but praise. Our room was at the very top of the hotel with a spectacular view of the bay below. There was a variety of tasty treats with the tea and coffee, the bed was very comfortable and the shower room was bright and spacious. Breakfast was delicious...cooked to order and everything personalised. Perfect poached eggs and bacon served with a smile. The decor of the whole hotel was quirky with special touches such as traditional board games and interesting ornaments. On warmer days there is a little balcony. A bar is also available. Throughout our stay in all areas there was the attention to detail which makes a stay special. The location is perfect with both the sea and town within easy reach and free parking is available in both the hotel and on the street. Would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff who really seemed to care about giving us...
