The Black Cat Micropub — Restaurant in Great Britain

What a pub! My wife and myself love this quaint. Cozy and a very warm and friendly pub. If you want to try or enjoy real ales and ciders that do not contain cordials and call them a fruity cider, and non commercial lagers. Then this is the place. Also this is a pub that has no pool table. Jukebox or television. The entertainment you are likely to get or make is your own. No mobile phones in use either (not that my wife and myself saw being used)...(hooray). It is cozy lit too. I found the gents refreshing room quite amusing too. I could not help with having a good laugh at some of the VIZ pages that are used to decorate the room. My wife was concerned on how long it took me to get to back to joining her for participating into having another lovely drink. I said I was having a good read.

If you like to eat spicy things. I strongly recommend you try Nasty Nick's Nuts.

It will be our local everytime we stay in Weston-Super-mare from now on.

The Black Cat Micropub is an excellent place to visit if you enjoy really good beer and a nice calm atmosphere.

I have been to the Black Cat many times and always enjoyed my visits. There is always a cheery welcome from Nick, he is always keen to tell you about the beers he has for you to try. He spends a lot of time sourcing high quality beers and they really are good.

I'm a keen ale drinker and I have to say, whenever I go in, there's always a great beer to try!

On my last visit, I was only going to have the one beer but it was so pleasant at the Black Cat, and the beer was exceptionally good that I decided I should stay for another.

On my many visits, the Atmosphere is always nice at the Black Cat. The venue doesn't attract loud noise and drunks in fact quite the opposite, people who are keen to try the excellent beer and have a peaceful time always seem to be at the venue.

So, to sum up the Black Cat.... A nice little micropub who's staff are keen to serve only really good beer. The pub had a calm atmosphere and you always feel welcome. Well worth a visit in my opinion.

What a fantastic little micropub this is - easily the best beer in Weston and a lovely atmosphere as well!

The regularly changing list of beers is curated expertly by the owner and features beers and ciders from the very best producers in the country (no Fosters here!!!) It's also very reasonably priced for the quality of product you're getting. The snacks are awesome too!

There's always a good crowd of regulars in but it's super welcoming for newcomers too - we've brought loads of people here and everyone has loved it.

Very dog-friendly (they always get a treat), though bear in mind it is small so they must be well-behaved.

Long live the Black Cat! It has become one of our go-to spots in town and we look forward to many more visits. Thanks Nick...
