6 of us from a training course after having a meal up the road then went in to this bar to have a drink around 21.30 we spent a couple of hours there at the bar having a sociable drink and discussion between us. To be told that we could not get another drink as one of the party was supposedly drunk. Which was not true. When we enquired who was supposed to be drunk or causing a problem the deputy manager would not say. He said he was backing his staff. When I enquired if he thought we were being out of order during this discussion he said no but had to back his staff who would not state who was at fault. As stated we are not a group of youngster we were adults attending a supervisory training course causing no problems in this bar. I will take this further with the brewery offering statements from other people using the the bar to say were were not being disruptive It seemed acceptable for youths to hang out in the toilets intimidating customers and also to loiter outside throwing up in the doorway as we left. Would not recommend this place and will take...

The experience of this establishment was a disaster. A polite greeting and meals ordered. However the meals arrived and that is where the niceties ceased. I had a chicken tikka marsala with onion baji and samosa. The onion baji was flat and burnt to a crisp. The samosa was pastry with what can only be described as a pasty filling. The curry was cold and greasy. My friend had fish and chips. The fish was also burnt and looked smaller than a chicken goujon. The oven chips needed a few more mins in the oven and where also lukewarm. When poi Ted out to the staff, what I presume was the manager he just took the plates away and never even apologised. The young girl who was on the till brought us our refund and gave an apology. I know times are hard at the moment but manners and courtesy costs nothing. Will definitely not be eating at this...

Brought the wrong food for 2 out of the 3 people there. Then we had to wait another 15 mins for them to bring correct order. Which meant we ate separate from the 3rd person with us. We did get an apology but nine of our 3 servers gave eye contact or spoke at all other than to apologise and to remind us of the rules. But the orders were made on the app. The table we sat on hadn't been cleaned. We then watched the people beside us leave and there table did not get cleaned for the new customers. Neither did the table opposite. I understand its a difficult time. But of all times you need your customers and this type of service is shocking. Sticking to regulations made by the government should not affect service or cleanliness. Especially this far into...

Fantastic staff and quick service ,unfortunately, our meals came out cold, but the staff changed them and gave us a pudding as an apology.Toilets were downstairs, which was a bonus, but they were in need of a good clean!!! There was not a lot of parking outside, but we did manage to find a space in a street round the corner, but you can only park there at certain times.Worth a visit if you're in the area or like me a Spoons fan.

This was a brilliant pub for dinner, with a lush design across the interior! This is done through the windy pink lines on the separators and the olden white plus brown layout of the ceiling, vintage lamps add a nice feel and counter is well-presented too. I had a tasty, hot Ramen Noodle Bowl with a pint of Leffe's, sitting at comfortable red seating by a circular table easily fitting two of us!

Typical JD Wetherspoons in the centre of Stockton upon Tees. Arrived after 830pm and still the place was busy, staff quick to serve and a table readily found. Thursday evening curry night was winding down so there wasn't a full selection of curries available, but what was served was perfectly adequate. Beer excellent quality too, well worth another visit.
