The Treehouse Tea Room — Restaurant in England

What a lovely little place! I was meeting a former work colleague for lunch at a restaurant that turned out to be closed. We needed somewhere else to eat in a hurry and found this: couldn't have done any better if we'd looked all day. The room is pleasantly set out, plenty of choice, friendly staff, tasty meals, sensible portion sizes but silly prices - guys, you are robbing yourselves! I know you've got competition in the town centre from other places offering light lunches but no-one's going to go back to Cafe Nero and similar dives once they've discovered you. We visited The Treehouse Tea Room whilst staying in Stockton on Tees after we saw the reviews. We were not disappointed, the tea room was spotlessly clean, very friendly and efficient service and the food was freshly prepared and excellent value. We had a latte, orange juice, bacon sandwich and the breakfast bagel and everything was fresh and delicious and less than £15. Highly recommend this gem...
