Extraordinarily Friendly! As soon as i opened the door I was warmly greeted with a sweet Hello from Bar Tender Linda! It's rare to feel such warmth in the hospitality industry!I felt welcomed here unlike a local pub down the road where I felt like Casper the friendly ghost, so invisible that my husband and I walked back out into the cold whilst snowing in order to find somewhere else to have a drink! It was the perfect place to unwind after such a stressful day! I enjoyed a delicious Negroni cocktail and my husband, a pint of Ale! We thoroughly recommended this place to our friends and we look forward to visiting again...

Friday 26th January 2024 Tonight again, this great real ale pub in the old town of Swindon was revisited This pub is a 1 roomed music pub lively busy with a local following the land lord and staff were polite, the 2 real ales were from small breweries i had the Mad Squirrel Pomello citrus it was grand. Amazing people. Great choice of beers(I'm a big fan of sour beers and there is always some on tap or in the fridge) Good selection of snacks. If you feel particularly hungry, they deliver burgers, ribs and hot dogs from the Chop House (hot dogs are the best). Top notch spirits. You must try Old J with a coke and a Malfy G&T. Banter with the locals. Superfast wifi. Literally over 100mbps.
