The Windmill is a wonderful wee bake/eatery that has a set menu filled with breakfast, brunch and linner favourites. Dogs and their owners are more than welcome there and it has a wonderful familial vibe. (Dogs get treats too)! It's the best place in town for your bread and rolls. The staff are great and the grub is good. Don't try to venture there for food after 15:00 though, as they wind up the kitchen for a four pm close.

Thank you for such kindness today.

I came in with my mum for lunch and both the food and the service were incredible. My mum started to feel unwell prior to our food coming and so lost her appetite which she felt awful about once her food arrived, but the staff were kind enough to take it back free of charge, even though it had been made and was sitting at our table for a few minutes. They were extremely lovely about the situation and we really appreciated this touch of kindness. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cafe that feels like it cares (and for amazing...

We popped into The Windmill bakery for breakfast while out on our morning walk this morning...lovely friendly staff & great service & the food was fresh & delicious (highly recommend the rarebit!). They have a great selection of food on the menu & also to take away & do takeaway boxes for breakfast, pasta, etc, which is excellent if you're on the go. They also have lots of local produce/gifts on sale supporting other local businesses. All in all a great experience.... we're lucky to be local..... please pop in if you're in...
