Shocking. £6 for a bun the size of my head with 1 singular sausage and 1 slice of bacon. Hash brown was in need of 9 minutes on the sun bed! It wasn't even cooked! Do better.

Great friendly local cafe. Lovely atmosphere and made to feel so very welcome by the staff. We all had the belly buster and my stepson couldn't finish it lol.

Toven's Cafe is a good small family run and family friendly cafe on St. Peter's Avenue in Cleethorpes. Its a decent no frills restaurant, that has friendly owners and appears to have a strong local clientele. It's not fine dining here but the food on offer is good and very reasonably priced, which you can eat in,takeaway or have it delivered, they accept telephone orders or you can order online. The menu includes everything from breakfasts, light bites to a selection of hot meals, which include roast dinners and pies, they also have a children's menu. It has a fairly modern look with a basic table and chair layout.Table service is provided and it has it's own restroom which along with its entrance and table arrangement are wheelchair friendly, there's also a couple of tables outside during the warmer months. There's parking available on the adjacent side street and a pay and display car park on the High street. This cafe accepts card payments, it is also a dog friendly place 🐕 and opens 7 days a week. It has a 5* food hygiene rating. Food review April 2019. I opted for a roast pork dinner and a mug of tea, the choice of meat and vegetables were limited as I had arrived after a busy lunchtime rush.Never the less a good plate of food arrived after a short wait, comprising of a good selection of both fresh and frozen vegetables, some freshly made stuffing and a homemade Yorkshire pudding. The pork was nicely roasted and decent quality. Not a bad meal at all and very well priced at £7.05 for both the meal and the drink.

Food review December 2023. Had lunch here again today, I opted for a Turkey dinner and a tea, a good sized plate of food arrived after a short wait, a good selection of vegetables, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, cabbage, brussel sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and lots of turkey, very nice and well priced at between £8 and £9 for my meal and tea. 😊 They have started serving for in the evening's on certain days of the week but I'm not clear on which particular days or the times so best contact...

I ordered on gy and clee eats but I can't leave a review there so I will leave one here! Ordered 2 days in a row, got one of the boxed salads yesterday and it was lovely, very generous with the ham which my very fussy daughter helped me finish. The chicken in the pasta salad was proper chicken, not like the processed stuff that's usually mixed in, the bacon was nice too, as a person whos not really into bacon. I decided to get steak in onion gravy today, and I dont know what I expected but the fall apart braising steak that tasted very similar to what my nanna used to make was very nice. Not much veg but what was there was nice, the mash also not the frozen pellet microwave stuff, it was actual mash. Thanks Tovens, don't know what some people are complaining...
