Amazing service. Friendly staff and Locals :) Beautifully location with a lovely view.

We come in for Sunday lunch last weekend me and my partner were visiting from Portsmouth. My cousin is local to the area and chose to book a table before we headed home (visiting her prem baby in hospital) we had my hyper active son with us and 3 very exhausted hungry adults .. I was cautious as the pub is a quiet cosy environment (perfect for date nights or older people) however I read the room completely wrong they cater for ALLL! My nosiey son was no issues at all! The staff members all engaged and interacted with him. The food was quick but amazing quality (a real homecooked roast) price was more than reasonable for quality and amount!

My son was darting around the small restaurant area we was in but the locals didn't seem to mind at all.

It was honestly a pleasure eating here!! If I didn't live 2 hours away I would return every day just for atmosphere/cleanliness/friendly staff and AMAZING fresh food!!

10/10 you should all be incredibly proud of the beautiful friendly but cosy pub you have created on the waters edge!!

Rest assured when we're back in a few months we will return and TIP! (I stupidly left my cash in the car and forgot we hadn't tipped until we were an hour from home!)

THANK YOU FOR...

I don't normally make complaints but I waz shocked at the 'service' we got here :(. I went here about a year ago and had a delicious meal. My friends and I went recently and were very disappointed. Firstly we booked a table for 8.30. Our friends were a few minutes late and the lady in charge started to tell us off and was very rude saying last orders were 8.30! So why did they let us book a table at 8.30?? My friends were only 10 minutes late. 3 out of 4 meals were stone cold and frozen in parts. When we mentioned that the food was cold the lady in charge said "For f@cks sake!" !!!! There was no need for that we were polite to her. She was rude to all of 4 of us and the food was not good. The rhubarb crumble was in edible. I like slightly sour food but it was very very sour. I won't be going again and it makes me very sad because I loved it last time. The rest of the staff were very nice znd I felt sorry for them if the 'boss' was like that to us what on earth was she like...

It's Terrible... ..That I couldn't give this place 6 Stars! Please excuse the word terrible at the beginning, but naturally people will read this review before others on Reviews, so I thought I'd put a spin on it x Came in tonight with my family, myself and my partner visiting, first time I've been here, and loved it. Beautiful traditional country bar & restaurant. Warm cozy and welcoming from start to finish. 5 of us eating at 6pm, starters Inc home made soup, delicious, and then we had 4 mixed grills and fish and chips, the food was plentiful and the steak was cooked to perfection. One of the nicest steaks I've had in ages x Service was great and the staff couldn't be nicer.

The night was perfect spending time with my family and the restaurant was full, we managed to get a table last minute when my cousin booked and we certainly wasn't disappointed . We will definitely be making a return visit when we are in the area again. Thank...

We had such an amazing afternoon and evening at our absolute favourite pub in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 last weekend. It helps that owner Mark and I are avid MUFC supporters and that news of United’s victory over BHA in the FA Cup semi had just filtered in. But victory aside, just as satisfying was our dinner and service experience at the venue. Roasts and curries, second to none and service from Skye always a delight. One of the wonderful young staffers is Macy, we were so incredibly impressed by this bright young Woman. Still prepping for exams, here is a conscientious Lass, not afraid to work a 6 hour shift with a smile on her face, then go home to study. Wow!

My husband and I stayed at the Tudor Rose this Friday night and it was great! It is in the most beautiful, hidden road on the Medway next to Upnor Castle.Linda, the landlady, was so friendly and showed us to our very attractive and well equipped room. We booked for dinner and the food and wine was excellent. It was very busy with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. We slept very well… comfortable bed and so peaceful in the morning. We had an amazing breakfast…I honestly can’t recommend this pub highly enough, we had a lovely time …thank you!

You don't have to be a expert but your tastebuds will be tempted by a full range of modern dishes, traditional favourites and vegetarian options - all freshly-prepared on the premises. Daily chef's specials, crafted from the best local, and seasonal, produce are also available. For something lighter, you can enjoy a delicious selection of sandwiches, light bites and traditional pub favourites in our welcoming bar area or outside in the fresh air in our beer garden overlooking the river.
