Good Friday 2025. Really pleased to arrive at this restaurant after having Googled what's available in the Luton-Dunstable area. It really didn't disappoint. The business was well attended on this evening which was a good indicator. Started off with some poppadoms and chutneys - these were fresh and crispy. What I particularly liked was that the service was not rushed: orders for the starters and mains were not taken until after the poppadoms and drinks were delivered. The timing of the service at this restaurant was obviously well practiced. The quality of the food was apparent and the portions more than adequate. Be sure to specify the level of spice/heat you want in your food. I often forget this when going to an Indian restaurant and end up disappointed if everything turns out almost lacking of flavour and heat. The mains were delivered surprisingly promptly but in no way hurriedly - an overall pleasant and fantastic experience! Bill came to about £30 per head for 5 of us with drinks and there was no service charge automatically added to the bill. We added our own...

I went to the Vantage Indian restaurant in Dunstable last night with a friend for my first meal out since March. Apart from hand sanitizer at the entrance, paper menus and lack of table cloths, it was just a normal meal out.
No draft beer but they have bottled Cobra. There is more space between the tables, which actually we preferred because in the past you could hear other people's conversations but this more pleasant and dare I say even intimate.
We were surprised it wasn't as busy as we had expected for a Saturday night. I booked up two weeks ago, expecting many more would too. The restaurant was busy enough and we've been to others before lockdown that had less diners on a Saturday evening.
Excellent food. We were well stuffed. Almost didn't notice the waiters all had gloves and masks on. They have a one way system but I didn't see anyone leave their table, except to go out.
Just felt like a normal night out although I ate too much and struggled to...
Read moreBest Indian in Dunstable. Really. My family and I went for the first time yesterday and were really impressed - the food is fresher, tastier, presented better, and higher quality than the other Indians restaurants in Dunstable (we are always trying to find the best one but never tried here!)
The protein proportion is even bigger, so better value for your money - you actually get a lot of prawns in the prawn puree starter - and across all dishes we had tbf. I had fresh water fish and oh my word it was so delicious! And almost a whole fish I had to take some home! I really recommend the lime and coconut 🥥 rice, yum!
Service was loving & not over bearing - they were friendly kind and calm.
The only tiny thing I would suggest to improve, just as a side note, is improving the lighting a bit in the restaurant as it was a little bit too dark. But I know some people like that.
Thank you for a lovely night and beautiful food ,...
