This is an edited review !! ā€¼ļø I have added a screenshot of my previous review from about a year ago, when they first opened their shop at Quadrant. We were so impressed back then and used to be regulars here since there were not many places nearby for a quick bite back then. Now there are so many other halal food options nearby for a much fresher and healthier dining. There service has gone downhill ever since. Few months back went in for a weekend lunch with a colleague and ordered mutton biriani which was an absolute letdown for the price. Adding precooked mutton to precooked rice doesn’t turn it into a mutton biriani dish … on top ridiculously high price. Decided not to go back. Yet again went in yesterday for quick snacking because was craving karak chai … the samosa chaat was full of raw onions and tasted stale… absolutely disgusting food. Karak chai was a 0/10. I don’t know what happened to them. Absolutely do not wish them any harm. But we pay for food & when the quality goes down there should be no reconciliation. I personally will never eat here ever again with my hard earned money. I would rather pay Ā£2 extra for bus fare to go to Luton for much better food at the cheaper price.

We visited this restaurant, and our experience was good. We ordered online for collection, and our food was ready in 25 minutes. We ordered a mixed platter (65), two sundry garlic naans (129), and an onion kulcha (131). The platter came with rice, which was not much. For the money we paid (Ā£33), we did not get much rice for the meat. We also expected a little more meat. It was just about enough for two people. We had two different seekh kebabs, three small lamb chops, two grilled chicken wings, and a chicken leg.A couple of bits of chicken and lamb tikka. Overall, we enjoyed our food. The meat was spiced well. It had a very strong kick, and the spices were not a joke. The rice was very nice and the star of it all. The kulcha and naan bread were very good as well—nice and fresh-tasting. We would come back for sure and have some of their rice dishes.

Enjoyed an authentic and rather delicious evening meal at this restaurant tonight. The welcoming service, the general ambiance and the quality of food surpassed my expectations. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. He recommended a few of the popular curries when asked for recommendations. My husband and I tried the lamb biryani, haleem, butter chicken, lamb karahi, garlic nan and butter nan. Whilst our fussy little toddler settled on a kids onion rings meal! Overall it was a very pleasant dining experience and we shall certainly be a returning customers.

Very very disappointing.

Booked for 10 plus as I was attending an event in Luton and fancied this cuisine afterwards.

Service: I booked in advance and the restaurant was empty yet the table had not been set prior to my arrival and the staff looked surprised I was even there even though I called an hour in advance.

The member of staff that served us individually got our orders wrong and we had to repeat on several occasions on what we wanted. When we all ordered the staff have then thrown a pile of plates with cutlery at the end of the table and expected us to set the table ourselves.

The food order came out wrong and items were missed from our orders. The food came all separately where a member of my family had to wait 20 minutes after I had received my food.

The service was terrible and the staff didn’t even ask if we were enjoying the food or seem interested that we were even there. The food felt like it was thrown to us and the staff left chatting behind the counter.

Food:

I ordered a chicken tikka masala and my sister ordered a chicken korma. These were the same and tasted more like a tomato based soup than a curry. How can we order two separate dishes and they look exactly the same and taste the same? This was not the classic tikka masala I was expecting. It’s quite frankly the worst curry I have ever had in my life, genuinely.

The naan breads were plain and hard. The peshwari naan was a normal naan bread with some oil spread on it. This also came late as it was missed from the order.

The trays/baskets that the naan breads came in were also dirty and my sister couldn’t eat her food as she was put off.

Toilets: dirty and what you wouldn’t expect from a restaurant.

I’m rarely give negative reviews but this restaurant was so disappointing I had to give one. It was empty and yet service and food was terrible.

Would not recommend. Please go elsewhere for a...

Salam!! I visited today with my children’s as reading reviews so I wanted to go to a Pakistani type of cuisine, anyways as entering they weren’t even busy n yet still forgot I booked a reservation also they weren’t smiling or friendly one of the waiter had no clue how to serve or talk much bless him, he was Irani guy n his colleagues were making fun of his English which in my point of view is rude n not nice to make someone feel an outsider as a Muslim we should love everyone n respect our workers. Lack of management to be honest food wasn’t all fresh chapal kebab was hard to chew, fish was frozen, rest sindi briyani was good, butter chicken was good raita was no raita just yoghurt lol they forgot to serve plates n spoons even they weren’t busy at all yet no nice way of welcoming or making it comfortable, food did take quite a long to be honest I paid Ā£68, it’s not about money it’s about lack of management n they need to respect their workers also it’s not amusing in my opinion and they should train their staff properly with good English and serving skills n to explain menu if someone doesn’t understand hmm InshAallah maybe after few more months I will try if theirs any change, overall not happy ;( only giving to stars for the poor waiter I felt so bad for him… Manager should take action not allow his workers...
