My wife and I visited this place last evening for dinner. Our experience was very confusing. We could see a lot of efforts have been dedicated in making the place a success to the point where, basic ethics of dining are not followed. With a restaurant that could barely sit 30 guests, I noticed about five staff working. One which seems to be the owner I would guess, a manager and three waiters. We felt we were being watch throughout our meal because the staff have nothing to do so they will patrol the room like guard soldiers. Ordered ginger and garlic prawns and to my disgust, worse prawns ever had. Not fresh at all. Asked for salt and got given pepper, plates attempted to be cleared twice whiles still eating. At this stage we had had enough and decided to pay and leave. I had noticed what I would only guess as the owner speaker to another couple next to us about their experience so I was hoping she would do same to us but she rather placed herself behind her bar which didn't serve any alcohol and waved goodbye. Your restaurant is nice and good looking, our mains were lovely except for the fact I asked for plain boiled rice and got pilau instead. Reduce the number of staff you have, or better off, get professional waiters who understand what service is about. Pay attention to your guests and don't pressure them. If you are aiming for high service standards, your food has to match your service. From my experience, you are not worth...

First time ordering takeaway from this restaurant and I must say we were heavily disappointed. We placed our first order on 05/07/2024 and didn’t hear anything back re our complaints so have decided to leave and honest and open review.

Took 2 hours to deliver and when we called the restaurant to ask where our order was they stated it was 5-10 minutes away. It then took a further 30 minutes for us to receive our food. Totalling in 2.5 hours to receive a meal, when we were told the waiting time would be between 30 minutes to an hour.

When we eventually received our food the order was wrong. I ordered a prawn rogan which was cold and my partner ordered a CHICKEN korma. He received a prawn korma. Not only was this the completely wrong order but he is also severely allergic to prawns and was left with no dinner, we’re just extremely lucky he noticed before he tried it. For a business to not be taking extreme caution around one of the top 14 KNOWN allergens, it’s disgusting and there food hygiene and health & safety should be re assessed.

The only positive to this whole ordeal was that the person who picked up the phone call was polite, hence the 1 star.

Worst curry( in fact I don't even think It can be called a curry as that would be offensiveto actual curries) I have ever had to the point would not even feed it to a dog ov had my fair share of curries and this tasted and looked like diabolic plate of what can be described as sick on a plate .

Madras is not a madras more like a watered down masala garlic naan had no garlic I and butter chicken was definitely not that more like stodgy thickened veg soup with rubbery chicken in

Made me physically sick after one bite

Originally from Birmingham I know what curry is meant to taste like and what I got was not a curry at all its like the owner has decided I'm gonna open a curry house today without even knowing what a curry is and needs to go to culinary school

Or travel north to actually learn what a curry (Any kind) is meant to look and taste like
