Went in to get a voucher around 6pm. Was honestly disappointed with the service. Asked the lady on the counter if they did vouchers as I couldnāt see it. They pointed to one and asked if there was any other designs but silence from both of them. The lady who āservedā me was called Amy. Ask if I could pay Ā£30.00 for a voucher, she didnāt say a single word, had the card machine up and didnāt say anything just waited for me to realise and pay. Once I paid, she gave me the receipt and didnāt say thank you or have a good day. Just a straight face and no smile. I said thank you and waited for a response but nothing. The lady stood next to her who looked like the manager was just staring up and down. If I couldāve just walked away I wouldāve but it was just dreadful service when I was simply just looking to purchase a voucher and was nothing be polite. Itās not hard to be nice or smile. Simple customer service in saying hello...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time in Swindon , decided to end our visit with a treat at Starbucks , arrived around 16:40 , ordered two toasties , a hot and cold drink to have in before hitting the road driving back to Bournemouth.
We were well disappointed to have our cheese and ham toasties in a take away bags where the hot, liquidity cheese was all running inside the paper bag as well as getting our hot drink in a take away cup where I surly was charged for dining in . Lack of communication from staff was 100 percent the main issue as we should have been informed about this prior to paying as we would have definitely moved to the next cafe , I had to go to the till and ask for plate and cutlery and was given it with no words exchanged or apologise for the inconvenience.
I just donāt see why our food and drinks was not served properly as they were still to be open for...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePopped in for a quick espresso and was quite disappointed with the service. While I was adding milk to my coffee, a barista needed to get by, which I completely understand. However, the way she handled the situation was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. A simple āexcuse meā would have been enough, but instead, I was made to feel like an inconvenience.
What stood out even more was that another colleague noticed the interaction and actually apologised on her behalf. This suggests that the behavior was out of line, yet the barista herself showed no concern.
I appreciate that cafƩs can be busy, but customer service should always be a priority. A little courtesy goes a long way, and I hope this is addressed to ensure a more welcoming experience for customers...
