My son absolutely loves this museum.. His favourites are the footplate steam engine driving simulation, the signalling levers and the shunting interactive display. He also likes assembling the various wooden bridges. We have visited several times now, so getting an annual pass was necessary. The cafe also serves some good hot food including kid's meals. Definitely worth a visit for 2-3 hours if not more. There is also a brilliant play area in the next door Outlet centre if you want your kids to spend more time in the area.
