I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wine Monkey and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly sets the stage for a delightful evening. The decor is stylish and cozy, making it an ideal spot for both intimate gatherings and lively nights out with friends.

The wine selection is truly impressive! With a diverse range of options from local vineyards to international favorites, there’s something for every palate. I appreciated the knowledgeable staff, who were not only passionate about wine but also eager to help me find the perfect glass to match my taste preferences. Their recommendations were spot on, and I ended up trying a fantastic red that I wouldn't have chosen on my own.

I recently had an unpleasant experience at Wine Monkey, where the staff’s attitude left a lot to be desired. Despite having visited the bar before and having been a paying customer, I was refused the use of the toilet on my most recent visit. The staff were rude and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome and as though my previous patronage didn’t matter.

What’s worse is that the place was nearly empty, so it’s not as if they were overwhelmed with customers. For an establishment that also advertises itself as a coffee shop, it’s baffling to see such disregard for basic hospitality. If Wine Monkey doesn’t want to offer basic facilities to its customers, they should at least treat people with more respect. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting...

My partner and I had a fantastic evening at Wine Monkey. He had a bottle of red and I had a bottle of white and shared a yummy charcuterie and cheese board for 2 and crisps. The mushroom and garlic crisps were so delicious. The atmosphere and service were both excellent. My only suggestion would be to give more information on the menus about the wines we were buying. I.e alcohol percentage and a description. The wine came in plain bottles with no labelling or corks/ lids. The staff couldn’t give us this information either. Having said that, the red and the white wine we had were superb and we will definitely visit...
