TLDR: Go and enjoy an extremely tasty, visually and gastronomically authentic Thai meal served in a calm atmosphere. Thank me later :-) Review: This is the recently taken over Laan Na Thai. Thank goodness because our last meal at LNT was abysmal. The manageress (Laksika) who took our order and was able to confirm that they could cook gluten free for one of our children. Service was with a frequently shared smile and she knew her menu and could make recommendations. Her general conversation was thoroughly engaging. For vegetarians, almost every dish has a vegetable option so their choices are virtually identical to everyone else. We started with the Papaya Salad and Tom Kha (Mushroom) soup (sorry forgot to photo). They were superb, just superb. Visually and olfactory hit you first and draw you in. The taste was perfect. Even the children tried and really enjoyed. In good time the main courses were brought along and again our eyes and noses were in for a treat swiftly followed by our taste buds. These included Special Fried Rice (Gluten free), Spicy Udon noodles (asked for and received extra Thai chilli served on the side), stir fry ginger chicken, grilled steak (requested medium rare which is what we got) and sticky chicken with basmati rice on the side. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Plates were left clean and compliments abounded. Everything was freshly prepared and the ingredients were very fresh. We can thoroughly recommend it to any Thai food fans as the clean, fresh, correctly spiced taste is authentically Thai, the service is extremely friendly and efficient and there is a warm and calming atmosphere. The only issue would be the lack of parking nearby but there are a couple of parking spots on the street outside and then within a three minute walk the public (paid for) parking areas. However, this is not insurmountable and well worth the short walk. Highly and wholeheartedly recommended

We went here for dinner last week for the first time. We arrived quite early so it was quiet, but this meant that we had the opportunity to speak with the very friendly staff between courses. The food is really great and the most authentic Thai food I've found in the area. The dishes can be customisable based on how spicy you like your food and real Thai authentic ingredients are used. Definitely going to go back!

The food is so delicious. Authentic, correctly spiced and most dishes can be made vegan. I haven't had such yummy Thai food for a long time in the UK but every dish was spot on. The green curry was beautifully flavoured... I could have locked the bowl clean! The drunken noodles were tongue numbingly delicious and papaya salad spot on. Service was friendly and efficient. I can't recommend this place enough.
