I visited Nando's very recently, and I normally really enjoy it. However, this experience was not great. I ordered two halloumi and mushroom wraps and two waters from an employee called Sushi. Unfortunately, Sushi was clearly incapable of getting my order correct and charged me for chicken wraps and two soft drinks. I was appalled. Firstly, I noticed that the chicken was not what I ordered before it came, and asked another employee to change it. They did this successfully, but soon enough I realised the soft drinks were wrong. I was not happy. When I asked Victoria to change this, she said that she could not, because she had already given me the glasses. It was ridiculous! We were clearly drinking water, and it was their mistake! Finally, I asked another worker, who managed to change it for me. Sushi was not very good at speaking English and I feel that that was why she got the order wrong. Maybe she shouldn't work in a restaurant! We usually order for collection and it's always busy to the point that about a month ago I and 4 other people waited for 15 to 30 min past collection time to get our food and only after asking what was happening multiple time. The cherry on top of the cake was this week, we ordered for delivery and believe it or not only half the order arrived. Only meat and a starter, no sides. Once we enquired they gave us a refund which was appreciated but nobody offered to redeliver. It was almost like we deliver half of it and hope that's enough! On top of that the food was absolutely below standard. The butterfly was dryer than usual, I ordered mango and lime and it was 95% lime. To top it off, we ordered a thigh and got 3 little dry and one slightly burnt pieces. Read more2025 Update: The issues we had some years ago have massively improved. No more cancelled orders. Had a recent visit for picking up food and someone noticed I entered and immediately asked my name and got my food to me, despite many people crowding around the entrance. In and out in about a minute. Much better experience!
Original review: Rarely are able to order anything from here. Every time we do, half way through it'll delete our order and state they are no longer taking orders, sometimes seconds before clicking on 'confirm order'. The one time we made it through that step, the food never arrived as they had cancelled the order without contacting us. Seems to happen at any random time during the afternoon. Any attempts to call result in 'phone number does not exist'. We try to order occasionally as we know the food is nice, and it's always the same result; it'll kick us out or state they are not...
