Great Location. Great Vibe and Ambiance. Outstanding Menu. Great service. Great food. This place has it all. It’s on the main road running through Long Eaton. There are ample FREE parking places in close proximity. 🅿️ I booked Al Naseeb for 30 people around 3 weeks in advance. I spoke with Krishna who was a real gentleman. Polite, professional, helpful, accommodating and even followed up with me a day before. Great personal service. Everyone arrived around 18:30pm, given a warm welcome by the restaurant staff. We were all given menus and a good time to decide what we’d like. The Menu is extensive and definitely leaves you needing to go back for more or go back again. Our orders were taken and the food arrived in good time. Of all the food that was brought out, there was not one single complaint from guests. A compliment to the kitchen staff. The Kitchen is open, clean and professional so you can see and speak with the chefs 👨🏽🍳. I had the privilege of speaking to the manager too, to express my sentiments. Due to the number of us we were allocated approximately 90% of the restaurant. An enjoyable experience, one Id definitely recommend and definitely return too.
What could be better?
Overall, a great Al Naseeb experience....
Read moreI was really disappointed. Al Naseeb used to be one of my favorate Indian restaurants but I left the area 2 years ago. So this night we decided we'd go back because its been ages since we've been
The standard I had been used to here was to have a lovely welcome, take my coat, show me to my table, pull my seat, hand me a menu, put my napkin on my knee and take my drink order
This night there was no one welcoming. A man then came, we asked if we could have a table for 2, he walked off with 2 menus and we followed after we took our coats off and hung them up ourselves (AWKWARD) we then caught up with him , he just put the menus on a table and walked off
He then returned, asked if we wanted popodoms and took our drink order
There was a strong smell of stale cigarettes and on occasions cigarette smoke. the carpet was filthy, I remember 2 years ago on my last visit the carpet had colours and the place was pristeen. The carpet is now so dirty it's black and the place doesn't feel clean
I ordered a jalfrazy but My chicken was so dry I left it.
A very lovely waiter came and apologised. He was really lovely and offered my a free drink by way of apology. I accepted a cup of tea but when it arrived it was only warm and very stewed so I left that as well
On my way out there it was again. A very strong smell of cigarette smoke but no one was outside smoking so the smell wasn't coming from outside . I can only assume the staff here are smoking in the kitchen area
The man who met us and shown us to our table definitely didn't want to be there
It's a real shame because Our past experience of Al Naseeb was everything it isn't now.
I'll not be going back and I wouldn't recommend going either not following my experience from the other night . It sadens...
Read moreWe received the worst service I have experienced in a long time on Saturday night. We had a table booked for 8pm which we were slightly early for but wasn't seated until nearly half past. We weren't asked for a drinks order and the waiter finally came over to take our food order at close to 9pm. At this point we have waited nearly an hour and not even been served a drink yet. We finally had our main course at 9:55pm.
There was another table in a similar situation who stormed out causing a scene because our food was served before theirs. When it came to paying for our food we were blamed for the other table leaving because they served us first.
There was no apology for the situation and the staff were very rude. We were even expected to pay full price for our bill after such a terrible experience.
Finally the food was below expectation and I can't imagine I will return for another visit after such...
