Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Erewash

Such lovely staff, yes it's a big giant corporate chain but the staff make it feel like a little local cafe. I sat in today and the amount of people who came in and staff straight away said "hi name usual?" was crazy. It was busy and they just banged out orders, they saw one girl come in and by the time she got to the till she only had to pay and take the tray away as they knew what the whole order would be.

They genuinely seem to get on with each other and it's just nice to see

Of course if they ask if you want cream or marshmallows in your drink it's going to cost more, why would that be free? It's called up selling. I pay extra for jam with my croissant...... why? Because jam costs money.

Yes it's noisy it's a busy vibrant place and making coffee is noisy, it's clean and decent and I don't understand the...

As far as coffee shops go, I much prefer your independent establishment. However, Costa is the only big chain of Coffee Shops that I'll go to, mainly because their coffee tastes nice and is ethically sourced and because the milk is Red Tractor assured, meaning the cows have a happy life.

The Long Eaton branch is bright and spacious, with lots of table seating and a few comfy sofas. WiFi is free and it's a nice place to chill with your favourite coffee, cake and friends. However, if the new Coconut Vanilla Latte is your thing, you won't get it here as they are always out of either coconut or vanilla powder.
