Cleaver Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in Erewash

I recently organised a Mama/baby brunch for Beeston Mamas club with the help of the lovely Lib. Lib organised a separate space for our party, put together a specialised breakfast menu to cater to all dietary required, had the tables set up with highchairs were relevant & name settings. The venue even allowed us to bring a local photographer to do some mini mama baby photoshoots upstairs during. The food and drink were reasonably priced but the breakfasts taste/quality was next to none. I had an eggs benedict with halloumi & honey. It was magnificent! We will definitely be returning. Food fantastic, service and organisation great and just an overall beautiful venue...

Well well well where do I begin. I attended a brunch as part of the Beeston Mamas Club and I'm so glad I did. I was a little nervous about finding the place but it was so easy to find with parking just across the road. The service and food were amazing my breakfast was cooked to absolute perfection and was gone in minutes of it arriving at my table. Thank you so much Cleaver Coffee for having us I will be recommending to friends and family and will absolutely be returning in future. Visited here for the first time for breakfast this morning (Sat 15th June) on recommendation. Ordered 2 full English breakfasts @ £11.95 each. The order didn't take long to arrive but one of my fried eggs was hard, the hash brown bites were too salty and the abomination of streaky bacon that was hard in places so obviously been under a hot plate. Not enough butter for the toast. No member of staff coming to ask if all was OK with our food either. Upon leaving one of the members of staff (lady with glasses) couldn't even say thank you. Not sure we would visit again for breakfast, maybe just for coffee as not sure you could get...
