The lapis lounge is a great place for a meet up for a coffee or a glass of wine & a light lunch , or maybe something more substantial as they have a good variety of food options covered , ranging from cakes & pastries to charcuterie plates & cheese plates etc , they also have a good range of quality wines on offer @ sensible cost & they are not the typical supermarket style wine's but selected for the lounge with great thought from a quality vitner . The vibe of the lapis is boutique chic inspired & it's decor is crisp & is a hue of petrol blues & peaceful light greens , with some tropical leaf wallpaper features , which with the warm glow of the retro inspired lighting feature all add to quite an intimate romantic vibe in the evening . The lapis lounge is an attention to detail venue & it's premises upon my visit were exceptionally clean in all areas & the WC facilities were spotless & we're decorated to the same standard as the lounge . The staff/owners upon my visit were most polite & welcoming & were very enthusiastic & although I arrived soon after opening my choice of coffee was served within minutes after my order . The lapis lounge is quite an upmarket style establishment & in the evening it would be a good place visit for a special treat with friends or that special person in your life , although no dress code is stated may I suggest casual smart or upwards as it is a little bit special !! . Please may I add although the lounge is a licensed premises for alcohol it is not a pub style venue & it's ethos is quality food & drinks , coupled with good service in pleasant surroundings . The lapis lounge is an amazing find & although a local business has all the attraction & style of a city venue , right here in sandiacre . Well...

I’ve been searching for a coffee shop close to home that offers the same warmth and charm as one I fell in love with in another town, and I’m thrilled to say I’ve found it at Lapis Lounge. From the moment I walked in, the cosy atmosphere and welcoming vibe instantly made me feel at ease. The interior has a beautiful, relaxed aesthetic that reminds me of one of my favourite spots, but with its own unique character that makes it truly special.

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious – you can really taste the care and quality in every sip and bite. What stood out to me the most was how comfortable my 1-year-old son felt. He was remarkably well-behaved, which is rare for him in public spaces, so it’s clear that the environment here is as calming as it is inviting.

On top of that, the customer service was excellent. Jazz and Chris were so friendly, attentive, and made thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced our experience. They truly looked after us from the moment we walked in, making us feel right at home.

A huge thank you to both of them for creating such a lovely space. I’ll definitely be returning – it’s a gem...
