This place is actually hilarious, it's like I was on a comedy sketch for worst business and takes the cake for the most disruptive scene ive ever seen in a public place, especially for somewhere as big branded as burger king.
Waited in line for 20 minutes after ordering, could tell the woman had a chip on her shoulder about something, disappears, we hear lots of arguing coming from the back, by this time there is a line of 20. the young girls storms out, 5 minutes later the manger comes to the front a Shuts the place down! XD. Never seen something so unprofessional in my life.
We didn't get refunded and everyone left! What i suspect had happened is that an hour before another employee had walked out, leaving 2 people to run the place. Being as massive brand as Burgerking with walk in and drive through, 2 people is no where near enough to run a big chain. So I suspect the young girl on till hit breaking point from the stress and also quit her job. I hope to god, as 2 people is no where near enough to run it.
On top of it the one burger out of 3 we did receive was GARBAGE. cost something crazy like £7.50 and even then with 2 patties it barely qualified as a normal size burger. Probably 20p worth of ingredients for £7
These burger places in the UK have always been going down in terms of service and ingredients, the burgers are laughable artificial imitations, stretched out to be the cheapest possible.
I WILL NEVER USE BURGER KING AGAIN! The price is stupid for something that costs them 50p and is always cold and unsatisfying. Please burger king, make your burgers smaller to save an...
Read moreSome of the reviews here are a bit precious, it's Burger King, not the Ivy. Having recently tried Burger King at Sandiacre, I've had food from both, though the chill atmosphere at the Ivy in Chelsea trumps the West End.
Anyway, back to takeaway burgers, I don't do greasy places which also flog kebab, pizza and the like. I tend to stick to a bloke in Long Eaton who goes by the name of Ronald McDonald. It's fast food, or supposed to be. Don't even get me started on Colonel Sanders across the road and his undercooked fried chicken.
Ronald's problem is that he kept letting me down. Food cold, food delivered to the wrong address (my street is posh, there's an 'Upper' version to it, so they got my food once whilst I cried into my Uber Eats app), missing items etc.
It kinda put me off big box fast food companies. I thought I'd give Burger King one try, always thought it was a bit more money, but probably on par with our Maccies orders since they lobbed prices up.
Ordered a double Whopper for myself, plus burgers for others, and 20 Doritos chicken things. When my food arrived on time, the first thing I did was the check. Hot, do a count on the chicken, open my burger. To my surprise, I counted 20 Doritos chicken bits, not 18. Precision.
To the burger, I've seen the ads, lovely flamed taste. "How do they do it?". Bun wasn't manky, nothing collapsed on me, very well constructed.
I'm Lovin' It. Will...
Read moreAttended the outlet in the sandiacre area today, was told of an unwritten rule that my acquaintances and I were not allowed to sit down because we were a "group of lads" despite the fact other girls and boys of the same age were eating in the restaurant. I tried to explain my disgust to the server apparently I was "backchatting" and when I said it was sexism because we were a group of gentlemen she denied the claim but went on to say that "a group of lads are intimidating". Hence we left the store to eat outside. When we went back in to get the refill we paid for the server confronted me again saying that refills were not valid once we left the premises despite the fact we asked another member of staff and they said it was fine. I feel this is blatant discrimination and the lady even threatened to call the police because I was disputing with her in a calm non aggressive manor, I even apologised. I was also told when I said I wouldn't come back that it was"good for her " and "I'm not a valued customer". This was awful treatment of a paying customer who just wanted to sit down and eat a meal and a prime example of...
