Just had a delicious meal delivered. Super delivery, slightly less time than advised over the phone. We had a strong recommendation from friends who frequent mount ghurka at Christmas times. We rarely gpt for a takeaway, but didn't fancy cooking today. The starters and mains were nicely packaged, poppadoms were delivered in one piece and not broken and all looked nicely cooked and fresh. The pickle tray was a good selection and popadoms lovely and light, wish I'd ordered a couple more. I opted for an authentic lamb as I prefer flavours recommended by the chef and my husband chose rogan josh - both very tasty. Bhajis were light and not thick congealed balls but tender and tasty with just the right amount of crisp.Tender meats and ample quantity that we've had to freeze half of each portion, not through stodge but just happily full from a lovely meal. We in turn will pass the recommendation on as...

We had take away. Would definitely not waste your money. Can't believe they stay in business.
You would not pay for the food we had if you were in a restaurant or if you could pay after delivery.
The only good thing was the delivery time.
Think they must have changed ownership as when you read some of the reviews....the food is described as really good. It isn't....its terrible!
The food honestly was not very good at all. The Momos were not Momos...I am sure they just shop bought Gyozas or similar. The garlic nan has no or hardly any garlic. The poppadoms and dips were terrible. The tandoori chicken starter was an over done small chicken thigh and even smaller chicken drumstick.
The two curries we had although different had same base sauce and tasted very similar.
A very expensive take away. Would not have paid if was in restaurant and would have...
Read moreMy son and I are from Bristol , but were in Long Eaton on business. What a find this place was! Along with the Raj Pavilions in our home town, you won’t find a better place to enjoy superb Indian/Nepalese cuisine . It’s the small things you notice in a great restaurant ; friendly but unobtrusive service, well priced selection of wines and beers, plus Naan and poppadoms/pickles/dips that were clearly home made. The main courses we had on consecutive evenings were superb; Nepalese breast of duck was new to us, but was incredible . And as for the chicken shashlik…..best we’ve ever had. On top of all of that, the prices are very competitive. Next time we’re in the area, this will be top of our...
