I am replying to the review below as I am not registered on Google for my business. I am Sara the owner of Mrs B's cafe and I am very disappointed that this review has been left and I would of been very happy to hear your concerns in person when you visited the cafe. The lady you are speaking about is Marcia, she comes in very regularly and has been for 2 years. She specifically asks for 1 piece of wholemeal bread toasted on number 4 on the toaster as that is the way she likes to eat it. I felt I needed to write a review on her after the comment I received back on just eat. I ordered 2 breakfast cobs. Asked in the notes for the bacon Not to be well done. It was very well done! I took is as the note was misread. Still gave 5 stars still enjoyed the food even though we had to take bacon out as it was really hard . Yet recieved a "can't take any criticism or any grumbles" remark back saying "sorry the bacon wasn't EXACTLY how we like it". I only order when I go to my daughters and I don't spend alot. I will never visit this cafe again. My friend and I observed a black women with mental health issues served a slice of toast that was so burnt it was black. She didn't complain and sat patiently scraping it. I feel so ashamed that I didn't complain at time. Would they have served this to a white customer? I believe not. I will be going in next to voice my concerns. Can I say..no not doogooder. Just someone who recognises racial and mental health abuse...
