A really really busy place run by a family of lovely people at Well Street. This place is always bustling with people for some amazing Thai food. I’d recommend going before 7 pm for dinner as it gets really crowded after that. I had to wait for about 20 mins to be seated but it was all worth the wait. The food here absolutely hit the roof. It was warm, fresh and delicious. The kitchen is open so you can literally see your food being prepared fresh by the chef. It had a bit of spice which was just the kick I needed for the week. The portion sizes were also beautiful and good, and the quality of the food was very good. The staff here was extremely courteous and attentive and interacted well with the customers. I’m yet to try their mango and stick rice for dessert as they’re sold out most of the times. One of the best places for Thai food in Exeter.

YESSSSS!!!! FORGET ITHAI!! I had only ever really had iThai and liked it until I had food at this place!! THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD! And the staff are so happy??? Like I see all these lovely women laughing in the kitchen and having genuine fun and it makes my heart so happy. The Thai Milk tea was also so!!!! Good!!! I will come here until i graduate and miss it when I leave. Great for date night, hang out with friends, and even solo eating because you will definitely crave this food. I cannot stress how much I love this place. My absolute fav restaurant in Exeter. Plus the decor is so cute and you can buy the posters as tote bags I think which is also so!! Cute!! 1000000/10 always recommend.

The most excellent authentic Thai food in Exeter. I really don’t need to say much more than that. A small menu belies the amazing variety of salty, sour, sweet and hot flavours you can find in the fragrant dishes. You can also choose to have sticky rice with your meal, which is very rare in Devon. The cafe is run by co-owners and mums Qwan and Nui Evans, who run a tight ship. The kitchen is open to view so you can watch the cooking in action and they often zip around the tables making sure you are happy with their food, of which they are justly proud. I eat here a lot.

We have eaten here many times both dine in & takeaway. Delicious, friendly cafe atmosphere, cooked to order. I have only marked down as we had a takeaway & one of the meals barely filled half the container, certainly didn't constitute a meal. When a raised this via email I received no reply, I mentioned it again on our following visit. Resent the email in front of them with the vague response that they would reply. Some three weeks later, still no reply. From memory the meal that fell short was a No 10, do not expect a full meal from this. If it hadn't been for the lack of response this review would have been 5 stars.

After this review Kin Khao Cafe contacted me. They apolgised for the oversight & sorted the matter very quickly & professionally. We have since had another family meal which as per normal...

We drove from Truro just to eat at this restaurant!! OK we were actually going to Cullompton anyway but it was worth the detour.. My wife is Thai and occasionally needs to eat proper Thai food but not cook or do the dishes, so this place ticks 2 boxes straight away.. Now the staff are proper Thai, smiling and super friendly, another box ticked.. The food.. Well, the food might have been special order not necessarily on the menu but WowWowWow was it good.. Everything she ordered was tops, so that's another box ticked, probably the main box ticked.. Price wise, for 4 of us plus take away which fed us 2 meals the next day, £89 !!!! Now that is not Thai price but we saved on the airfares and quarantine so huge result... All boxes ticked 😋😍🤑

Treat yourself to an affordable authentic and super friendly Thai...
