Little Dessert Shop Exeter — Restaurant in Exeter

Absolutely LOVE this place. I found it via a Google search and it will definitely be somewhere I visit again. There was so much selection to choose from, there is a selection you can look at inside. They all looked delicious, but me and little one ended up creating our own.

My little one had a waffle with milk chocolate and 2 scoops of ice cream (malteaser and cookies and cream), I don't like waffles normally but I did taste this one....OMG...I was not disappointed, this was the best waffle I've ever tasted, it was so fluffy, cooked to perfection and really tasty, I would definitely order a waffle from here in the future. We had to take half home it was so big. We had a doggy bag, and even that looked cute 😍

I had a crepe with white chocolate and 2 scoops of ice cream, mochachito and one with Nutella, biscoff and pretzels on it, absolutely delicious, I have to admit that they were both really tasty but the Mochachito has to be the best ice cream I've ever tasted. The choices of ice cream were amazing, it was difficult to choose from.

We had soft drinks but there are mocktails, coffee, milkshakes, hot chocolate etc that you can choose from. If I remember correctly, there is alcohol as well, so a big selection.

The staff were really friendly and were cleaning the chairs and tables whilst they waited for customers. I was really impressed by the shop, the service and the food. I'm not sure if there is seating outside as the weather took a turn for the worse, so we had to sit inside anyway. I'm normally not an entitled person who likes to rant about everything. But something really humiliating happened today. This afternoon, I kinda went inside to use their toilet and there was not a single person sitting there, I'd not go if it was busy.. so I went inside in a rush and a member of their staff asked, excuse me. I said yes. He said, what are you doing? I said, I need to use the toilet. He said , no you can't. And I was so humiliated at that time. I understand that it's difficult to tolerate people who think they can come anytime and use toilet. But there is something called corporate social responsibility. I still understand if it was the company's policy not to let people use the toilet. I'd really recommend their management to train their staff to speak professionally or please you can put a note outside the toilet to stop random people from using it. I didn't commit any crime. We ordered from here a couple of days ago, but never again. After an hour or so of the food not arriving, we called to find out where it was. We were told that it had been delivered already. We explained it hadn't, to be then told that we had called and requested the delivery address be changed after ordering (we hadn't done this). The guy on the phone said he would send out the food again. We got another call about 5 minutes later from someone else asserting that they had delivered the food and wouldn't redeliver it. He even told us the number that had requested the change, which didn't match the telephone number on the order (and the one we were calling from). We had to argue that, by delivering to us they would clearly see that we were not the people they delivered the first one to. Eventually, a good hour and a half later it turned up. I understand that mistakes are made, that's not really the problem. I don't particularly like being called a liar when they didn't even perform basic checks when someone requests to alter an address for online...
