AVOID THIS BRANCH
I used Nando’s all the time (roughly once per week sometimes more) so I am very familiar with the service of which I usually fault at my regular branch. Most regularly I visit in Plymouth/Bristol.
Me, my wife and daughter stopped in after a long day travelling back from France on the way home (Plymouth)
Both me and my wife ordered separately (at the same time), we have often ordered this way at several other locations and never had an issue.
Her food arrived along with my daughters accompanied with one starter. I understand this is common practice at Nando’s (usually at every other location the waiters will check when ordering if we would like it all at once).
Tonight I was left waiting for 30 minutes after my wife and daughter had their food delivered. This would not normal be a problem but as my daughter is 2 and was unhappy being left for such a long period. I requested a refund for my food and we would leave without.
The manager was unprofessional, smug and condescending and could do with some lessons in handling complaints.
Instead of politely discussing the issue I was told to write a complaint online, no apology, no understand, nothing.
Not management worthy but also a terrible person. With this in mind I will avoid this location at all costs and has ultimately put me off putting anymore money in the...
Read moreI recently visited this Nando's, and unfortunately, my experience didn't quite meet the expectations I had. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the lively atmosphere that Nando’s is known for, and the staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. However, I was taken aback by the service; it took 30 minutes from the time our order was taken until the food was served — the longest I’ve ever waited at any Nando's. What made this even more disappointing was that the restaurant was only about 1/5 occupied, yet it seemed that dine-in guests were not prioritized over takeaway delivery drivers. As someone who pays extra to sit in and enjoy the meal, it was frustrating to feel sidelined. When our food finally arrived, I found that it was below the usual standard I’ve come to expect from Nando's. Furthermore, the music in the restaurant was too loud, making it difficult to converse without raising our voices and adding to the overall chaos of the dining experience. In summary, while I appreciate the friendly service and the casual vibe of Nando's, this particular visit fell short of the high standards I associate with the brand. I hope to have a better experience on a future visit, but regrettably, I can only rate this outing as average due to the extended wait, subpar food quality, and the overwhelming...
Read moreI am delighted to share my dining experience at Nando's Exeter (Marsh Barton) in December 2023. I often eat at Nando’s restaurants but what made me leave a review on this particular occasion was primarily due to the wand an unparalleled customer service provided by the restaurant’s manager. It was evident that the manager takes great pride in his work, ensuring that each table received the attention and care they deserved, and this passion translates into a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout this restaurant by the whole team which immediately set the tone for the rest of the evening. I was about to go on a 2 hours driving journey after this late dinner. I ordered two coffees at the end of the meal, however the coffee machine was broken. The manager went out his way and has manually prepared a delicious coffee to both my wife and I. His swift resolution not only rectified the issue but also showcased his commitment to ensuring that each guest leaves Nando's with nothing less than a memorable experience. The manager, when faced with a minor issue during my meal, demonstrated remarkable sense of professionalism and dedication to ensuring the utmost satisfaction of his customers. Great service,...
