Recently, I stumbled upon an unparalleled cappuccino experience at the Waitrose Cafe in Exeter. Priced at a modest £3.10, this delightful concoction was crafted with oat milk and elevated with a hint of hazelnut syrup. But it wasn't just the beverage that left an indelible mark; it was also the heartwarming presence of the elderly lady who brewed it with such love and expertise. Disappointing. Ordered the tuna cheese melt, poor quality. Bread was tough as old boots, very little tuna and tiny portion. Ludicrously over priced at £6.25! Absolute rip off. The table behind us was full of used crockery and cutlery from the previous diners and was still there when we left. No attempt had been made to clear the table. A bad look , poor hygiene. Waitrose used to be renown for its quality, seems like those standards...

I used to like having a light bite before shopping at Waitrose. Unfortunately the last couple of visits have been far from great. The place always looks dirty. Whenever I use cutlery or glasses, they have been smelly or with the food on them.

The members of staff have always been very attentive and nice.

It would be great if the cleaning standards...
