What an absolute gem this place is! It came up on times magazine as one of the top things to do in Exeter. Well they weren't wrong! A very friendly gentleman took our order, We both had probably one of the best tasting coffees ever along with a fresh croissant with ham and cheese. We then had the pleasure of meeting the owner Simon. He was so kind and took us to the basement showing and telling us all about how they make their coffee on site, it was so interesting ! After asking Simon if he did pods for our coffee machine he explained that although he didn’t I could but empty pods and he could grind the beans to the correct size for us. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend visiting

After receiving bags of delicious coffee beans for my birthday I finally had a chance to go into the cafe itself today. It’s a beautiful cafe, super chilled out vibes and very comfortable. We were greeted by the owner who kindly sorted our order for us and showed us the coffee roaster downstairs (you could smell the delicious roasting coffee from the street - heaven). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed some loose leaf tea, coffee (a correctly sized cortado), a pain au chocolat and quite frankly the best gluten free brownie we’ve ever tasted. Plenty of gluten free options to choose from. We will be back, we are already planning our next visit. Thanks!!

This is the best coffee shop overall in Exeter I’ve visited so far. The coffee is delicious and the baristas not only know what they’re doing but are the most friendly. I buy my beans here for my morning cup and have been slowly working my way through all the different roasts they sell and have yet to be unimpressed. Exe Coffee Roasters immediately made me feel at home in a new city/country and I’m so thankful! It is cramped in there, as it’s a super small cozy space. I like the layout and how snug it is but this may potentially be a turnoff to some?

The staff are wonderful here, super friendly and inviting. They made delicious coffee and you can purchase bags to make your own at home. The coffee is roasted on-site but the lovely Carol.

Simon the owner has invested his time into employing the right staff who are excellent at what they do, perfecting the coffee experience with delicious cakes.

David is super helpful and as a small team, he expertly juggles the demands of deliveries to local businesses and keeping the right staff front of house. Tim makes a mean coffee and is an excellent teacher of the barista skills. Anika is super friendly and is excellent with the customers. Nothing is too much trouble and they're always happy.

I love supporting a small local company and it makes me so pleased to see how many other small companies have linked in with them. The community vine is wonderful.

This cafe is set on the corner of the bottom end of town, there's a parking lot 2 behind the cafe so plenty of parking (paid).

There are a couple of seats outside the cafe and seating inside. There was a downstairs but I don't know if this was toilets or extra seating.

The cafe is really cute inside, it's very rustic with a nice atmosphere. The gentleman serving was lovely and really friendly. The coffee was really tasty, there were cakes but I didn't fancy any food so, unfortunately, I didn't sample them. The person I was with did though and said the brownie was delicious.

I don't often come down this end of town so it made a nice change but the coffee shop is definitely worth a visit and is...

Family were having a swim in Pyramid leisure centre across the road so I stopped here for a coffee and to catch up on some work and a little admin. I had tried the coffee at Darts Farm Shop restaurant so I already knew the coffee was going to be good but I wasn’t expecting Chemex and the like on the menu. As it was, I had a long black and slowly sipped the pleasant sweet roast in the cosy and relaxed atmosphere with a good music selection playing in the background. It’s fairly small (hence the ‘cosy’ bit), but if you are in any way a coffee connoisseur, it’s well worth going out of your way for if you’re not here anyway. Warm welcome from the friendly staff which added to the...
